i used to say...

'only 295 days to go' until my year off
it sort of means to me now, that i may be throwing those 295 days away in order to get to the end
i wouldn't really enjoy them...i'd always be waiting for something more
i have to look at each day as a new adventure - 24 hours to fill with excitement ;)

i didn't feel too distressed at school
there was one time when someone did put me off
i understand her frustration
sometimes i think i'm very compassionate and people take advantage of me
i must learn to balance out
i got home and granted, i was tired, but i felt as if i could still do quite a bit
i would be able to read some, sit out in the fresh air some, and do some work for school
not a bad day :D

today, i am thankful for:
• the bird i noticed on the side of the highway the other day that could almost keep up with the traffic [90 km/h!!]
• the switch in my schedule that frees me up at the end of the school day
• the red tree that i saw on my way home from work that reminds me to go outside while it's still warm and summery
• my husband being at home and resting...and being with the dogs
• the two books i took out from the library today
